WANA (Apr 20) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to deliver a virtual keynote speech on Monday, March 21, at the Carnegie International Nuclear Policy Conference.

He has been officially invited to participate in the prestigious Carnegie Nuclear Policy Conference, held biennially in Washington, D.C.

Araghchi is among the main speakers at the event, which brings together top policymakers, government officials, and nuclear industry experts from around the world.

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is one of the most respected think tanks in global affairs, and its biennial conference is considered one of the most significant gatherings in the field of nuclear policy.

This marks the first time an Iranian foreign minister will speak at Carnegie’s nuclear forum.

Some European media outlets have interpreted Araghchi’s recent opinion piece in The Washington Post as part of a broader effort to influence the political climate in Washington.
